Spent today at the Bankside Gallery hanging the exhibition – PV on Thursday – come and have a look 
at who got accepted. When this painting was accepted in 1996 I was so thrilled – it took until 2009 before I became an Associate of the RWS.
That’s 13 years!! Am I patient or what!
Something to cheer winter up – it’ll soon be Spring but until then……
Went to Pallant House, Chichester to see exhibition of watercolours.
Very impressive, large, colourful, inventive.
Both paintings are finished – I’m resisting fiddling with them, it’s good to see them here – it’s difficult starting a painting, then keeping at it and then not overdoing it so that the poor thing expires…….. these paintings will be in the Royal Watercolour Society’s Spring Show at the Bankside Gallery from 23 March – 22 April
I think this is finished so I’m stopping now and going to make a fish pie. I’ll see what it looks like tomorrow.
